I seem to be getting too many email updates. I normally get one a day around 4.00 p.m. UK time - I've had seven since that time yesterday.

TB, I believe one can remedy such overload readily.
Go to your profile > edit profile > notifications....
You'll find boxes in which you can disable specifics and quantity sent [to your email/in-house online]

Yes I had the same problem - have received quite a few emails today when normally I just get one a day summarising. There are settings within your profile which can alter these. I hadn't changed mine myself but when I look one of mine has changed. Not sure how as I didn't change it - possibly something to do with Proboards that host BM. Anyway I just put it back. So try the following:
1. Click on the [Profile] tab near top of the screen to go to your profile - orange bar, green writing
2. Click on [edit profile] towards RHS of the screen - white box with green writing
3. Click on the white tab with green writing that says [Notifications]
There you'll have a list of Forum notification options. Here you can select what you want. Most of mine are set as [never] with the exception of [Participated] which was set on daily. Now it is set on [smart] for some reason. So:
4. Under [participated] select what you want. I changed mine from Smart to "Daily". Sounds like you want the same thing. Try it and let us know if it works

If you get some for my new super sticky frying pans don't worry...just click the "Buy Now!" button...cheers! Take the handles off make a mixture of brown sugar and extra virgin olive oil, coat them thinly and bake the hell out of them on full power. Remove after a while and repeat. |
