Since there's so many threads concentrated and getting buried in there, how about opening up a couple new pubs?

Not a pub but perhaps an ''off licence.'' Yeah well under that heading theres a pub, and 2 others, tit and tat. Pubs full up but the other 2 are quiet. Everyone loves a pub. It reminds people of pub talk and good times. |

Good point and something that came up before so we could have a pub crawl  Nags Head pub is popular and is the heart of the forum for having a laff. At the moment it's coping as there are about 30 threads on a main board page. Nags Head uses those up between 19 August and 22 August so 3-4 days. BM could also probably increase number of posts and of course easy to get back to the top again by clicking on the arrow in the RH bottom corner 555 |

Other things BM could do hippity is to increase number of threads per page and they can also use the news feed sometimes to show the 10 most recent pages in a forum if it's busy. These should make it longer before getting buried and make new stuff more accessible until we have enough locals for another pub next door |

The changed format throughout the top-half might be to the forum's advantage - spread out/categorize within certain sub-forums. Easier access to many older active threads that get lost quickly [couple days] in the maze of one continuous sub-category.

I agree that it's a good move - especially for members that only call into the pub occasionally - I think I'll try to maintain a theme for each pub ( just for my own purposes, not suggesting anyone follows on ). |
