I can't think I can remember any stand-out incidents with a flight attendant. I can remember the couple next to me in business class getting annoyed with the attitude of one female attendant, who did seem to be in a stroppy mood. I didn't bear the brunt of it, but I think the couple had a right to be peeved.
What was surprising about that was that the business class attendants are supposed to be the cream - if they love a good growl, gawd help those in economy. I think my worst "experience," was flying Air France - where the attendants seemed to take an attitude of "seated now, are we? well don't bother us again until we're landing." Man, they disappeared for hours on end. I wonder what they were up to -

Can't think of anything I particularly hate as such, but there's been a couple moments if that's kinda the same?
Air Asia. Paid onboard for beers. I figured pay for 6 and that'll save pulling the card out every time I want one. So off the girl goes, comes back with all 6 beers on a tray and hands them to me! I had to explain just 1 at a time please. Now I'm not complaining, and I'm a merry drinker, but for some being handed 6 beers to pour down their necks as they please can became nasty. Alcohol on planes can be a bad mix for some.
Air Asia again. Prepaid meals. Actually their hot food is quite good, well better than some other carriers anyway. So, I pre pay 2 meals for myself and I think it was 2 for my wife. Now they've seated my wife and daughter on a bulkhead seat so daughter can have a bassinet. They wouldn't let me move next to her unless I paid for the new seat. Ok, I gave in, paid and got moved. Ok back to the food, my meals never came and when I asked where they are, they said we've sold them! Why? I asked . Because we couldn't find you! I said that's crazy, you know I moved up here. Its your fault I was told, no meals left for sale. Assholes. Then I go to the toilet and what do I see? Their staff all eating chicken satays! I'll never fly that b.s. airline again.
Singapore Air. Not sure what happened exactly, saw a hostess have a breakdown. I know it was a passenger, I could hear the argument. She quit halfway through the flight. Bawled her eyes out for hours.
And had a hostess, was a male so is that a host? British Air, saw us pour a drink and threatened us to have Thai police waiting for us and was told Bangkok prison is a very nasty place. We assumed it was they had served us enough alcohol, but every time we pressed the service button, out would come more wine.

I was once given a packet of macadamia nuts by a stewardess. Not on a plate. Disgraceful. Had to order the pilot to taxi the plane back to the gate so the stewardess could be deplaned.

One time on a Delta flight the attendants were all black....
During the course of that 6 hour flight anyone of dark color got a smile and serviced....
The white folks got ignored even if flipping the call switch.....
The meals were plopped down carelessly for us while others were asked if they'd like if they wanted more coffee/water.....
But then -→ after the meals it got better......FINALLY Everyone was treated the same ----- They went behind their black curtain and ignored Everybody for the rest of the flight....

I don't particularly hate anything about them, but British Airways flight attendants need a good revamp its about time they brought in some eye candy on the long haul flights as opposed to the ageing crew they have now.

I have to agree with you, all the men flight attendants are either gay or hideous. Not bottom pinching material anyway.

I had a gay male steward on BA berate me for not switching my Kindle off during takeoff. Well BA changed their policy on this some time ago...this guy just kept barking at ne...in the end I had to tell him straightforward to just not speak to me at all. His fellow crew member was making snide remarks as I got off the plane as well. BA crew can be simply the worat in the world. On another occasion I got up through a long flight to see all the stewardesses rocking the babies in their arms to stop them crying as the cabin tried to get some sleep. Yes at times they can be the best too....luck of the draw.

I got a header from a Pan Am stew at 39K feet over the Pacific heading home on Emergency leave when I was in the military. Lovely Hawaiian lass she was & we became quite close afterwards. Shame I had to head back to SEA though & the return flight didn't even have a stop at Honolulu...damn. Mind you it did have a stop in Manila before ending at DMK. I was married to a Cathay Pacific Chief Pursor for some years...she ended up realising she was a latent homosexual so we split up. About the only "bad" experience I ever had with a flight attendant was on an SQ flight from Sing City returning to HKG after the Michael Jackson fiasco/concert, the one where his love for kids was exposed in BKK...My correspondent & I were sitting in first class, I asked if SQ had the latest issue of Time Magazine, she said she'll go check & never returned for the duration of the flight (short one). I asked a senior stew the same & for a couple beers & she came through like an angel. If any of you have ever had the lunch buffet at Raffles Bar & Billiard then you may understand why I mentioned to the SQ angel when refusing her 3rd attempt to offer SQ's FC lunch....that I didn't want to nor did I have any desire to spoil a lovely Raffles Hotel lunch buffet with airplane food...I think I saw a small tear begin to roll down her cheek. Mind you I did ask her for a few more beers so that made her smile again...a little smile but a smile nonetheless. Never really any "problems" with flight attendants...it's a shit job & somebody gotta do it.
