Oh yes, if there is no specific forum for USA politics I suggest all Trump related threads at least be moved to the "USA, Canada & America's" thread.
That's where I put mine, not in the General section. Not everyone is interesting in the monkey cage.

I suggest the picture on the homescreen be changed to something new. I respect his passing and he still reminds me of a Thai version of prince Charles ,but time for a new pic perhaps ?

I/we were up in Isaan for a few days last week and even in the government offices the dress code was much more relaxed with pastel colours and some wore a black mourning bow and in a couple of instances black armbands.During general perambulations very few people were encountered who were wearing black.
Yes with respect it is perhaps time to move on

In he comes, The Educated Idiot on the fast track career programme, he has been highlighted for greater things, an industry leader. Ok to use the photocopier, sure help yourself. Lifts the flap and puts in the paper, then lifts out the paper tray and inserts about 10 transparent OHP slides. 'scuse me boss, what you doing?, going to photocopy these, really said Mac? Yeah sure, is there a problem? Just as a matter of interest, what did you get your degree in? asks Mac. some strange new aged bullshit like thermo nuclear cloud combustion or whatever was the reply. Have at it says Mac, but dont blame us for your eff up. I dont understand your concern says this idiot. Neither do we says Mac, then tells me to eff off out the office. This idiot hits print on the copier, next minute smoke and fumes coming out the thing, it jams and shuts down. The plastic had melted on the drum and jammed the thing. He went far, think he ended up as a HSE jobsworth. |
