no bad stonyboy, i have relatives in the same field of work , redpect to them and the millions doing it. Why don't they use a combine? As i see it, in the village i know and amongst family they all commune between each others land, first paying to sow and then harvest. Each member of the group pays a minimum wage to the workers and they in turn take the minimum wage as a worker, this somehow gives non land owners and poorer members of the village a means to earn. During these work periods everyone is fed by the paying farmer and so field by field they survive if not prosper。

That's a good question cmk, and I don't have an answer 。 There are a few kobelcos sitting around in my village and are a huge capital outlay , but if investing money into the village farm scene means buying a combo to harvest rice many folks will be without an income. Better use this money to progress education with rotational crop and product variation , no ?

But the landowner gives them money because they are part of the community.

Aimed at the wealthy demographic. GAG Yes I do believe its compulsory viewing in every dodgy visa school. There is even an on line version the digital pikeys can watch, no wifi required. I could swear I saw the advert in Pratunam market the other week, the e-bayers were too busy stocking up on tacky muay thai shorts to take any notice.

Not a single RTA, balcony surfer or scam could be seen.
That commercial would be borderline racist here as there was also no black, arab or blatent homosexual people in it.
You have to cater for everybody in todays world. Jokes aside.
There was also no beach scenes I notice, no temples, no scuba diving, no muay thai. No fake or genuine smiles either, only pretentious things to post a selfie on facebook with, so people can say look at me, hoping for approval from peers.
Just a campaign to try and attract people with big money, so they can further seperate the poor from earning a wage from tourists and widen the class gap.
No one was seen eating cheap meals on plastic chairs on the footpath, no one on the back of some makeshift transport vehicle, no people offering them a blow job, no hawkers selling you warez etc...
Too sterile for my liking, the majority of Thailands non business tourists don't go there for sterility, thats what they are trying to escape from back home.
Almost nothing in that video would make me want to visit Thailand, other than the place in the trees where I could get stoned (if it was legal) and listen to the trees chatter or maybe dangle off a rock face with a spliff and a bottle of chang.
On the other hand this video filmed by a few tourists with some basic gear, would make me want to go today.

I remember what it reminds me of now, an ad for Bacardi rum.
