You say she has a liking for expensive cocktails, not that she has a liking for quality cocktails.
 


A woman's enjoyment of a cocktail is directly proportional to price and environment. Served on a silver tray, atop a high building, by impeccably dressed wait-staff. the bigger the glass, the more expensive the price, the more fancy ingredients, the more words in French/Italian/Spanish, the happier they will be. (Buddha smiled down on me the day he gave me Mrs Cheapy)



Men on the other hand gain more satisfaction from their cocktail on a less-is-more-satisfying scale. Less fancy description. Less glass-age, less ingredients, less price. All leads to greater enjoyment.



The SIMPLE way is to find a good happy hour bar.
Cheap prices. Now, once you have found a good bar, 50% off prices, then talk about this WONDERFUL, MAGICAL place you have heard about. You cannot remember the name but you will find out. Serves the most magnificent cocktails known to man kind. Build it up over a few weeks

After a few weeks of that she will be super excited about this magical cocktail bar that in her head she would have built it up in her mind. On the day of the cocktail visit, start to complain of stomach pains, this is important.
So you get to the place, distract her as you walk past the happy hour begins. When the server comes, wave them away and order two Cocktails from the menu, sight unseen (of course you have checked it out before). Money no object!
Keep her distracted by asking continual questions, She will be glad to talk and this means she will drink a lot lot slower. With luck, maybe one drink per hour. If happy runs for 2 hours you can keep it down to one or two drinks.

Now, as happy hour draws to a close, the stomach pains you have been complaining of all day, are now too much!  Exit quickly before another full price cocktail can be bought.
