Oil, here's another one you suggested mate.... - Instant, full replies with the email notification Do members really want their email boxes getting flooded with notifications? I ask this only from my own experience. My email was so flooded with the things it was a relief to turn it off. Then we had a member jump down us for not turning his notifications off. Not mentioning names there. I haven't looked at member settings, but usually the feature is there to turn on or off anyway. Is it not in there?? I guess people use the email notifications differently. User settings have some abilities to control the notifications, but there is no ability to follow a thread or a sub-forum. I like the notifications as I can follow the thread without having a need to visit the site. I let the gmail to put notifications to own folder. |

It is something Proboards are working on though. The only notifications you can receive at the moment are listed in Profile > Edit Profile > Notifications. |
