The sound of breaking China reverberated around the world in the latter half of this year.
Share prices of commodity-related firms plunged on concerns over China’s slowing economy, and shares of companies in many emerging market regions also suffered.
Closer to home, the additional uncertainty over when interest rates will rise and May’s general election meant a volatile year for investors in UK shares’.
