She seems to be a fine politician. It seems that she is a moderate English born lady with ancestry from Bangladesh, related to the current leader there and the founder of that countr. She has been active in her constituency and although her politics may be a little left for some of this board so would the policies of Genghis Khan.

You're gonna have to do better than that.

You're gonna have to do better than that. I don't see why. There was a fire alarm in Cabrini green and the police and fire department let the place burn down. East St. Louis I worked in and saw the absence of police. Read a book. History of Street Cops: Gangs Guns and Cabrini Green Housing Snipers. I ran businesses in Chicago, Houston, Tampa, Detroit. I was armed because the cops don't come. Take a trip see the USA.

You were armed but would you actually shoot someone or just threaten? Always wondered people's mindset before they pull the trigger. Apparently it's some kind of adrenalin rush. Personally I don't like guns but I guess if you are faced with a dangerous situation and police won't come, sure.

Personally I don't like guns but I guess if you are faced with a dangerous situation and police won't come, sure. I was in the Vietnam war for two years. Shooting people is not a new concept for me. In Vietnam other than they were shooting at me I didn't have much motivation for shooting but in the States they were trying to take my money. Take my money - no way. My wife - we can probably work something out or throw a rock at my dog but don't you be messing with my money - you gonna get shot and we talk about it later. Threatening someone with a gun INMO is stupid. I never pulled out a gun that I wasn't ready to shoot. All the movie stuff is silly. Personally I like guns and am a black powder shooting enthusiast (that means I can make my own powder and bullets if some fool tells me I can't buy ammunition. I can put out 24 shots a minute with technology available in 1865 and don't need any assault weapons to make my point. The Colt below is a beautiful weapon and you can buy them from Colt Black Powder new. You put that in your hand and if you're a guy you are going to like it.

Enter At Your Own Risk: Police Union Says ‘War-Like’ Detroit Is Unsafe For Visitors. Mr LeDuff checked the house for intruders himself, then went to McDonald’s—twice—took a bath, and read a book to a child. The police finally showed up after four hours. WWL-TV found that New Orleans police have taken an average of 79 minutes to respond to 911 calls so far this year. Other stories are scarier, if less widely known. Resident Sofia Froeba was unable to get police to respond at all to her call after she was carjacked and pistol-whipped into unconsciousness. It took two months and repeated visits to a precinct house for Ms Froeba to get police to even write a report. www.economist.com/blogs/democracyinamerica/2015/12/police-response-timesI left the States 10 years ago and moved to Thailand. Cabrini-Green Closed in Dec. 2010. There are 310 million guns in America. Men own guns because men protect women in America or Thailand. I was always CMK.

CBS2’s Randy Paige reports that many officers believe there aren’t enough of them to go around — especially in an emergency.

First it was,…… then I called you out for posting utter crap and I got this from you,……. And now you link us/me to a page which states,……. Officers with the LAPD tell CBS2 that in the event of an emergency, you might have a long wait.

Having carried a firearm for many years in a certain part of one particular country, its kinda useless to carry the firearm unless you are prepared to pull the trigger, threatening someone with a firearm, and not being able to pull the trigger is incredibly dangerous and stupid So to answer your question....yes i would

I lived in Detroit and the police did not go into the 13th precinct and many other parts of Detroit both when I lived there and now the police and firemen don't go. I lived in Houston by the ship channel and cops and fire dpt did not go there. I worked in East St Louis and the cops and fire dept did not go there. If you want to call me a liar go ahead but I lived there and know what I'm talking about. I feel much safer in Thailand than many places I've lived in the US. I don't know what your point is. US is not a safe country in many places. I owned fast food restaurants in bad neighborhoods. Got a good deal on the prices but had to wear kevlar and carry when you went to the bank. Where you from? Florida. I had restaurants in Newtown, Sarasota Florida. SARASOTA - There were eight murders in Sarasota last year, and all but one took place in the Newtown neighborhood. Facts FORUM: Community's role in keeping violence and drugs at bay emphasized Residents also say they are tired of the street crime, open-air drug markets and violence that plagues the community. I went from Newtown to Bangkok and breathed a sigh of relief at the lack of street crime in Bangkok compared to where I came from. You seem to want to start a fight with me by calling my writings crap and BS. Perhaps you could keep it a bit more gentlemanly by saying you disagree with me. This seems a well mannered forum why try and make it a slag fest like the other Thai forum?
