Today I found the Holy Grail, the bottle of Jameson which had been imbibed by non other than Tony, indeed little was left in said bottle; I desired to consume the dregs, but was too overcome and when told a replacement bottle would have to be restocked in case He was in need, I left. A knights quest,a pilgrimage.

So, the Tiger is back and I actually made it to the office today. Before the rumours start flying around, yes I did fall asleep in the Crossbar on the first night but I believe that I more than made up for it when I met with Smokes the next morning. Thanks Fletch for the parts of the evening that I am able to remember. Oh BTW, the one thing that I do remember was that we all raised a glass of Jamesons for Buhi's birthday.
Before fully recovering it was beers for breakfast with Smokes (yes the hotel had beer on tap in the breakfast area) and then straight on to the Jamesons. Minuscule action in the 'dancing on the tables' department but I did manage to please the wife when I eventually got back to the hotel room wearing my white Nautilus which had been decorated with pink lipstick marks in the shape of kissing lips.
Anyway, the weekend was fun but I just wish I was younger and had more staying power. Smokes and Fletch were real gentlemen and I would thoroughly recommend a night out with either or both of them (providing that you don't plan to use your liver for much longer).
Just one more important point, me & the Smokes adopted a new Mangoes poster boy. This kid was about 3 years old and hanging around the bars (his mother worked at the bar we were drinking in). Every time we saw him he had either a bucket or a box on his head, walking round bumping into things. He was a class A1 window licker. Later today I will be posting the picture that we took of our new hero.

When I was a young lad I wanted to play on the wing for Scotland.
I wasted my time training hard but never had enough ability in the end sadly.
If only I'd begun throwing buckets over my head and eating my food with a garden spade at a young age I'm sure I'd have been an Olympic windowlicker.
Anyway I wish to point out that this smart kid was handsomely paid for his time and effort.
Thanks for a great weekend!

The little fricker wouldn't join me for a 'one shot' Jamesons. Never mind though, he does have a great future ahead of him.

You're back! Sounds like a great night out. Shots are lethal, beware. I have a tequila story in Qatar which I won't share.

Was quite amazed to get home yesterday and find that I still had some Jamesons left in the flask.

Every time we got to "you cheap lousy faggot" Tony threw a miniature Baht Bus across the pub and the wee lad would go fetch it for us.
When Tony offered it to him to keep the boy said <duck> that I want a tuk tuk so I can fleece the tourists properly.
Big big future that laddie...mark my words.

Michel of the White Stag (HK) fame now refuses to drink Tequila after a full day session with me back in the mid 90s. The other guy at the table was an innocent passer by who got dragged into the session while on his way to a business meeting (he had only popped in to the Stag for a breakfast). I bumped into him a couple of years later and he told me that he got sacked for turning up smashed but still bought me a drink for what he classed as 'his best fun day ever'. Got to love Tequila games.

Yes, I remember the Pogues being played a lot. Also remember Smokes recruiting a new poster to the board (well the man was drinking very early, so definitely Mango material).
