try not to get mao too fast Do you mean keep your Little Red Book tucked away to surprise her later? And try not to be responsible for the deaths of 30 million or so people? The latter is definitely a buzz-kill.

Years ago I had a female friend who went on a date with a guy and the next day she was telling me about how much the date went. Her: He told me that the pendant on my necklace was very nice. Me: Were you showing it to him? Her: No, I noticed that he was looking at it. Me: So he was looking at the necklace that was resting on your cleavage? Her: Yes he said it ......... OH.
During a conversation later in the day. Her: do you all use the nice necklace line when you are caught looking at cleavage? Me: Yeah, pretty much so.

The young lady knew for sure that wearing a low blouse and a pendant highlighting it would gain attention. I have no respect for her questioning or objecting to it. Respect is earned not an entitlement.

Shock development - Thai pu ying has turned up fifteen minutes early for date - and I'm not ready.
A Thai lady being early? there must be something wrong with her.

Quick, dump her blether, tis a trap, an ambush. And I walked straight into it. * Note to self - Thai Pu Ying will always show up early on Valentine's Eve. What's wrong with me, falling for that one?

So how was the date? Happy Vday blether, remember, if you can't be good, be good at it. Very good but wth a couple of weird disturbances. For some reason Jear insisted I stay near the massage shop in case it got busy. Then half way through dinner I was summonsed to help in the shop. I donno the first thing about massage or how to rum massage shops. It was just Jear being a bugger and trying to interfere with my date, much to the amusement of the masseuse.

^^ The shop was busy to be fair, we had twelve masseuse fully booked for hours. Also, kocked back dozens of potential customers. I'll need the full coterie of 22 masseuse on a Saturday evening by the looks of it - and that's not easy to find.

I'm not having a poke at your staff here, but are they trained masseuses? When I lived in BKK I went to this place for a Thai massage and the ham fisted cow put my shoulder out. Hurt like there was no tomorrow and had to go to a doc to have it 'fixed'. Didn't really hurt that much when it cracked but hours later, it was something else. Chinese massages I like, they are so skilled they can slip the rings off your fingers without you realising it when they massage down your arm and hand. Nice oh yeah. As to Jear interrupting your date competition there blether, take them both out. Saw this sign the other day on a sandwich board: 'Bring your girlfriend 5% off, bring your wife 10% off, bring them both at the same time the meal is on us.'

As to Jear interrupting your date competition there blether, take them both out. Saw this sign the other day on a sandwich board: 'Bring your girlfriend 5% off, bring your wife 10% off, bring them both at the same time the meal is on us.' - excellent - Yes they are all certificated, however, I do wonder to what level. I watch the various masseuse going through their routines and I can see differences. We are very lucky that one of my farang pals was an occupational physical therapist in the UK before he retired. His lady used to run her own massage shop, and he taught her a lot. She works in the shop now in a managerial role, and she's excellent at selecting the correct masseuse for the job. I was "surprised," to see Thai customers in the shop, I noticed one yesterday explaining that she had a problem with a shoulder muscle. The manager called in a specialist masseuse to treat her - which is excellent. I've also seen farangs come in with various ailments, and the manager, along with Jear, spend time asking what ails - and what "pressure," level etc the customer wants. I've also noticed the masseuse ask the clients during the massage if they are comfortable with the treatment. As one male masseuse said yesterday - "Talk to me - if you feel pain, tell me right away. I am not here to hurt you, I'm here to help you." I thought that was good. Jear brought up a few issues at the last minute last night that the masseuse had mentioned through the course of the day - I said whatever they want, give it to them. The shop is attractive and has a nice ambience; the quality of the masseuse will decide how successful it is. Its one thing to rely upon tourists, something else to have the locals and expats becoming regulars. Thats the goal.
