English Thai TagalogCantonese French German Sometimes I have to redo the count, as I occasionally start counting in one language and finish in another. Oh dear. Is that what the Tagalogians speak?

As the language was basically re-written under Spanish rule many of the words are similar to the Spanish counterparts and in reality it is a European style language. I had a friend who picked up Tagalog very easy, as he could already speak Spanish. It is (in my opinion) the easiest Asian language to learn.

I had a friend who picked up Tagalog very easy, as he could already speak Spanish. It is (in my opinion) the easiest Asian language to learn. All the words for things they didn't have before the Spanish arrived, tables , houses , windows, work and so are basically Spanish.
