A US expat in Thailand working as an English teacher was this morning sentenced to a one year prison sentence in Pattaya Provincial Court under Thailand's Computer Crimes Act.
 Robert 'Topper' Postak was jailed after a case was filed by Drew Noyes following Postak posting an electronically altered 'Photoshop' photo of Noyes, apparently in a sado masochistic 'gay' costume. The Court found that Postak posted the photo on his website Sub Zero Siam after Noyes filed the case claiming the photo was fake and had embarrassed him. A second man whose face was in the fake photo, Brian Goudie, testified at trial that the photo was definitely fake and that he had also filed a criminal case about the same photo against fugitive blogger Andrew <tabloidhack>, but <tabloidhack> had absconded prior to trial and had outstanding arrest warrants. Andrew <tabloidhack> - has outstanding arrest warrants. Postak's case is the first in a series of cases to be heard regarding the photos. The Court rejected a defence by Postak that he had already sold the site. I've never heard of him but I know the photo and I find it unbelievable that he got a year for some obviously photoshop pic when the guy who's filed the charges is a scumbag who's been banned for life from ever entering Thailand again not too mention also has a. Thai warrant out for his arrest
I honestly hope the lot of them die painful deaths.

How many hours do you have spare to listen to many stories? Let's just say if I saw him on the other side of the road, I'd cross over, pour gasoline in his ear and set him on fire.
This is the culmination of what he dished out in real and forum life spanning many years. I know all the history.

Got into a spat with him on AF, called him Postwat and he sent a PM threatening to come and smash my face in at my workplace. Classy guy! Stealing money from your colleagues is never cool. Even worse then when they are on half your salary. I bet the Champagne is already in the cooler at a certain international school that he left false defamatory reviews for online.

I was the head of the kindergarten and primary section at the school in question at that time and his comments were very far from the truth. They caused some problems however being a Muslim School the damage was limited.
I will add that the school was a splendid place to work at in its early days with a great cross section of staff from all ethnic and religious backgrounds.
It will be chilled orange juice to celebrate at the school as opposed to champagne as said it is Muslim based.
Good to see Postak got his comeuppance at last

Must say I knew little about the case or the "gentleman" involved so I clicked on that link you posted to casewatchasia and had a read. That's one big 'ol can of worms ! There is a section at the bottom of that page, titled Blogroll and in the list of Labels there are some seedy characters indeed. Could not but help noticing one Drew Walter Noyes and did some reading on him. Not surprising that he was involved with an equally seedy website/forum where he was advertising his business. There is an exposé on LiveLeak concerning this likely lad that sounds like the plot of a Quentin Tarantino movie. |

Sadly the world of Thai forums and such attracts some very unstable characters indeed. Online threats seep into real life and nothing good can come of it. Galt was another weirdo that became utterly obsessed with Stickman and outed him name which ultimately cost him his teaching job |

This is around the time where it started. Before that many cyber wars and real life battles betwix Topper and a couple of characters conducted on AF and SZ. Threads ran over 200 pages of waffle and abuse, since removed by admin on the shelfstackers. Take notes Tony about boiler room accusations. Defamation of character really can make you end up in jail, you may want to give our mutual mate Fab a hint.  Now as it turns out, one of the owners of that restaurant had surprise, surprise, criminal connections in Australia and was a major stakeholder in a Melbourne brothel. Now you don't want to mess with people like that. I was on SZ since its inception, the gossip was not merely just 'gossip'. Lots of cut and pastes from AF and those pics. Topper had a personal vendetta with me, that's a long story, but anyway, I wish I could do something for the jailbird. Send him a card and some dead roses maybe with 'I'm thinking of you'. Depending on your time demands go Google and type in his name, there's a great watch blogspot won't link it here. |

I wouldn't mind going to court if I could stop this idiot Fab stalking me and he knows it would not be end his favour.
I have done many thing in my life, some good, some bad, so his silly accusations don't really bother me.
If I had worked in the boiler rooms then I would hold my hands up, the very fact that I'm denying something unimportant & petty that was supposed to have taken place 16 years ago really does tell the story.
Like I said, his petty accusations do not bother me but when I got a PM off him calling my wife a whore (using his Dave Walsh account and yes I have a copy of the PM), then he crossed the line.
The problem that this little prick can't understand is that if the push came to the shove I could actually prove where I was working back then but without implicating himself, he cannot.
Let Fab keep writing his trash, I have most of his lies and false accusations saved as screenshots as well as his confessions to working in Thailand without the correct visa and work permit and given the information that he has posted on TVF, it wouldn't be too difficult to track him down.
Let the moron keep mouthing off, he will hang himself eventually.

Justice Tony, like revenge, best served cold. Nothing wrong with making a case and taking it to court. Look what happened to Topper five years later. Get some advice, some twat making accusations on a forum is hurting your business, that type of thing would fly.
