Thanks for that! This Saturday will be last night out in Bangkok. Will be having dinner at a pub then a few drinks at Bamboo Bar. Some good contenders of something to do after that, thanks!

Adhere 13th is my favourite late night spot around the Riverside area.
Often great music and atmosphere...the later the better!

For sunset drinks turn right at the bottom of Rambuttri and cross the road...get Riverside and there is a cracking bar with restaurant attached selling good draught real ales.
Gets a breeze and has a relaxed atmosphere... The name eludes me now but will post it here later.

I'm scared of looking down at heights.
Theres that part of the brain that shouts "what if you twitch and jump now or your ankle gives way"
Thats why I only stay on ground floor accomodation too, yes I could get stabbed. shot or beaten with an object, but theres one less jumper out of the equation.
Unless I het drugged and carried up to the top, which is why I only camp in a tent when in Thailand, a fire proof one, with animal poison around the perimeter and a padlock on the zips.
Can't be too careful these days with all these attacks on farangs, thats where the tan shoe polish comes in, helps me blend in with the Thais.

Went to The Landmark for drinks last night. Bloody phone died on me. Great view and good service. Currently recovering with breakfast at Chequers on Soi 4. Keeping it classy

First happened to me at Heathrow a decade back.
About seven beans in the bloody pot and the breakfast cost me £10.95.
Robbing bastards.
