Actually that's a bunch of hooey. Clinton served two four year terms. During the first, Newt Gingrich was speaker of the House which controls spending. Clinton reached an uneasy but not unfriendly deal with Gingrich and the budget balanced for Clinton's first term.

During Clinton's second term the Dems gained control of Congress and the country went into deficit spending ending in a Clinton-momentum recession which GWB inherited. The dot-com bubble was already well under way.   

I didn't care for GWB and his policies, and I'm not bragging him up. But to give Clinton the credit that Stewart did is to ignore actual history.

She is great entertainment value though, love the BS that flows so freely.

Her Royal Thighness is a . A nobody named Obama picked her off when she was the anointed one last time. If she gets the nomination it will be a big yawn. All three of her loyal followers will fail to vote because they'll believe she'll win anyway. Her opposition will mobilize big time and that ugly old woman will go down in flames.

The only reason she appears to be ahead right now (which is way too early to know anything) is that she doesn't have competition on either side. There's no other Democrat named and neither is a Republican named. I can't wait to see Hitlary in a nationally televised debate against someone who actually has a personality.
