Steal an aeroplane. .....what could possibly go wrong? here, hold my beer I can do that! That guy was a great pilot who had an act like the rodeo clowns. Sadly he was killed doing an act like this a few years ago. |

I like the dude's style on the lawnmower, I could just picture myself doing that. ***"I have done things when I was drunk that I won't admit to myself, and I'll be darned if I will tell you about it" !*** * Something an old guy told me many years ago that I have never forgotten.  Another old guy I worked with in 1979 up in the NT could be best described as a "drifter". He estimated he had travelled around Australia at least 18 times, working from town to town. I once commented that he must have led an interesting life and he responded - "Son, I have eaten in some of the finest restaurants in the country, and I have eaten out of garbage cans".............The people you meet. |

Darwin characters are in a place of their own. I was in the Winnellie hotel 1 night when a bikie opened the front door of the pub up with his Harleys front tyre, rode it in, then put the front tyre against the bar, and smoked it up. The noise and the amount of smoke was awesome.
Different bunch up there. Good town though.

We were having some r&r in Darwin one time and ended up in the Berrimah Hotel, trying to get drunk and play pool. My mate had a big black dog who I thought, up until that day, was a pretty smart fellow.
