As you can see from my signature there I'm much more highly thought of and deeply appreciated there than I'm here. Especially defenders of democracy as we are told we should see it seem to like me You must be active on the Dandelion and Burdock thread then cos I've never noticed your posts. Had to look up that typically British stuff first. Evolved as light mead and now alcohol less ? You really think I would be active because of such 'heady' brew? PS I'm terribly disappointed about the Scots after reading the wiki article "AG Barr, famous for Scottish soft drink Irn Bru, produce a version of Dandelion and Burdock under the name D'n'B and the slogan "Tall, dark and drinksome"." en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dandelion_and_burdock

Wasn't me, I didn't start any dirty ol' duck thread. Have not posted over there since late last year when I got the Dear John letter from Linda. Some funny comments on there, I am surprised the Gestapo allowed it to drag on as long as it did. This comment in the final post made me laugh - Does this mean he is closing down the whole bloody site ?

Even we Dutch know you start with a real (alcoholic) drink and then take one more as you can't stand on one foot alone. "drinksome" sounds as good as "edible", but I'm normally not in that type of 'survival' mood. What's next, haggish ?

Bitterballen is the perfect beer accompaniment.
Sadly the young Dutch seem to prefer all that foreign fancy muck.

A wee oasis that place but never eaten there as the food seemed quite pricy.

A wee oasis that place but never eaten there as the food seemed quite pricy. 12 or 15 years ago when the place was sold and the Dutch owner went to his other place in Pattaya (I think) the menu changed a bit and prices went up. I've last eaten there six or seven years ago in November when my mother was here with one of my sisters and two brothers. We celebrate her birthday with a nice dinner. Arm grew back on but leg still shorter
