Currently watching Falling Skies Season 2. Sci-Fi, Action, Thriller series. Like many of these type of series, it gets better the more you watch of it. Steven Spielberg is Executive Producer. www.imdb.com/title/tt1462059/Like Siampolee watching Merlin, it's the type of thing to just watch and switch off at night time. Before that: Game of Thrones Season 4 Nikita Season 4 Spartacus last season Vampire Diaries Season 5 All watchable. By the time you go through all the episodes in one series, the next season of one of the others comes up

Excellent series. Highly recommended. Even if I'm a bit biased and say it myself: The Arrow Season 1 Spoiled billionaire playboy Oliver Queen is missing and presumed dead when his yacht is lost at sea. He returns five years later a changed man, determined to clean up the city as a hooded vigilante armed with a bow.www.imdb.com/title/tt2193021/

I'm a big fan of "how it's made", all random stuff that you don't know how its made.
I particularly like the engineering design of the machines that throw out X amount of product per minute.
Got nothing else to watch until January next year when Banshee series 4 comes out.

Good movie, based on a true story.
______________ True Detective. I think the next season starts June 21st. The first season was good, staring McConaughey and Harrelson. It’s starts off a bit slow (first three episodes) but builds up. From the net: Engineered as an anthology, each season of True Detective will introduce new cast ensembles, characters, settings, and self-contained narratives. The show's first season is set in Louisiana and follows a pair of Louisiana State Police homicide detectives—Rustin "Rust" Cohle (McConaughey) and Martin "Marty" Hart (Harrelson)—and their pursuit of a serial killer over the course of seventeen years. True Detective 's second season will take place in California. Pizzolatto initially conceived the series as a novel, but later, as it began taking definite form, felt it was better suited for television.
True Detective has been highly acclaimed by critics and is cited as one of the strongest programs on television. The series was a candidate for numerous television awards, including a Primetime Emmy Award nomination for Outstanding Drama Series and Golden Globe Award nomination for Best Miniseries or Television Film, and won several other honors recognizing its writing, cinematography, direction, and acting.
The first season was set in the deep south so if don’t understand a southern drawl you might have a difficult time with some parts of the show as the girlfriend did. I was able to watch it on DirectTV (HBO) via the net while overseas, but I think if you search you can view it someplace on the net. It’s worth a look. www.facebook.com/TrueDetective

Run All Night (2015) Longtime hit man Jimmy Conlon (Liam Neeson), best friend of mob boss Shawn Maguire (Ed Harris), has seen better days. He's haunted both by the sins of his past and a police detective who's been breathing down his neck for 30 years, and the only comfort Jimmy has is whiskey. However, when his estranged son (Joel Kinnaman) becomes a mob target, Jimmy figures that the only way to atone for his past mistakes is to make sure that his son doesn't wind up at the wrong end of a gun. rainierland.com/movie/run-all-night-2015.html

Worth a watch to just unwind and episodes last just over 40 mins each, so nice for just one a day. Want to watch season 4 now, but not due for release on DVD until June. Next is "White Collar" - don't really know what it's about but we got free when buying Falling Skies - buy one get 1. Then we'll be looking for another series Was also thinking of getting DaVinci's Demons - anyone seen that series?

Also just bought all 3 "Hobbit" movies as they're now out in a box set. I saw the first 2 but not the third yet. If one overlooks the historical inaccuracies within the movies they are quite good

I like a bit of Liam!! He was born in the same village in N. Ireland as my sister.
Masterchef USA has started again. I much prefer it to Hells Kitchen. Ramsay can actually be quite nice. They have a good list of the usual suspects lined up this year, the gay, the frumpy the shouter etc. Looking forward to it.
TV series have all died for the Summer. But i am looking forward to the new True Detectives with Colin Farrell and Vince Vaughn. It'll be strange to see Vince in a serious role.

Will look out for the series on DVD. Hopefully also have subtitles. Had seen Woman in Gold advertised in the paper and read a bit about it. Didn't sound that appealing, but the trailer puts a whole different spin on it - looks good

Started watching wayward pines its on episode 2 at the moment comes out on Thursdays.
Not sure what to make of it as yet seems alright. SS guy wakes up in a forest and ends up in a town he cant leave.
Kingsman, a movie about a UK chav/pikey that goes for training for the SS. Started off good and keep attention, the end is a bit over fetched though but worth a watch.
Area 51 waste of time.
Watched Fast n Furious 7 tonight, plenty of action but wont be to every ones taste. I enjoyed it though.
The Equalizer is worth a watch, for those who liked Man on Fire, John Q etc... You can pretty much tell all ends well in Denzil Washington movies.
John Wick with Keanu Reeves you might like, if you liked the equalizer.
The Helix, another area 51 film to avoid.
Lucy, worth a watch (pathumsebs avatar), reminded me of time travel and out of body experiences I've had in the past.

Just watched 'Good Kill' a story of a USAF pilot with 6000 hours F-16 flight experience, reduced to flying drones that fire Hellfire Missiles, from a base in Arizona full of IBC's on wheels, acting on command from his superiors.
Here's the trailer.
