So it was time again. Went to the One-stop-service-center in Chamchuri Sq., SamYan here in Bangkok. Had old TM form filled in already. Had completely forgotten about new form. Arrive a bit before 4PM. Nice lady tells me I also need to fill in the new form and need a pass photo. Well luckily photos I still had and with me. Lots of questions, new questions. Some nothing special but as some already remarked elsewhere WTF with some others. "2.4 Frequently used Social Media"? Email address no problem, but Facebook ID, Line ID, Others ? "2.5 Vehicle", showing databases in Thailand are still in need of integration like we all love and like in our home countries . "2.6 Frequently visited places or premises (such as Club, restaurant, Shop, Hospital, etc.)". For a moment I thought to fill in my office address or some customer sites. Leave open. "2.7 Emergency contact person(s)" makes sense, but I didn't have all details at hand. No problem, leave it open. "2.8 Bank Account" not needed for 90-day reporting. Back to the nice lady who accepted old and new form, glued the photo, gave me a number. The lady behind the counter didn't even look at the new form, just passed it on to some schoolkids (hers maybe) who stamped it. The 'activities' themselves were all with my passport and the old form, checking against data already in the computer. Wait for slip to print and be signed. Time on it 16:11:25. Gone after a total of 20 minutes. Now back in the office checking the new form more closely. "Foreign National Information Form". Form shall be used for making a record of information of every alien entering and staying in Thailand. "notification of Residence", "90-day reporting", "extension of stays", "re-entry permit", "or in all cases involving alien labors". When I asked the nice lady told me the new form is not on the website yet, so I asked for an extra blank form. For next time. Question to people here now: how does this new stuff work out using the 'on line registration' ?

I guess I don't look as dodgy as you do uncle rubl as so far they've not asked me to complete one That's when I've done my visa, re-entry etc in person at Chaeng Wattana. I also do my 90 days online. No sign of it there online so far though Next 90 days online is due in a couple of weeks so will keep you posted ...

'dodgy'? Tjeez man, now I'm really hurt. At least the nice lady was very friendly. I returned to her at least four or five times with more questions before withdrawing to the tables to do some writing and every time there was this real nice smile. Mind you, there was a hint of amusement in her eyes maybe. I like to do the reporting in person. I start to know (as in recognise) the people after coming there four or five times a year and they seem to recognise (as in remember) me. Good fun and no problem for those 10 to 20 minutes spent. MRT SamYan is one stop from the office, easy.
Ps if there's interest I'll scan and post the blank form (one of these days)

Our mob in office just did my 90 day for me, last week same place, never filled any form and did the report as a proxy So it seems the "rules" are flexible The "experts" or somebody on the other channel stated you couldnt get someone else to do the report for you these days, but seems not wholley true..

I can only assume the experts have never done one or are blind when they do one, its not uncommon to see agents with piles of passports in their hands doing 90 day reports.

I once signed a form to accept the company as proxy. Works for lots of paperwork including workpermit. Companydid the 90-day reporting for me in the past when the Immigration Station to be used was in Krisda Plaza, Ratchadapisek and later Rasa Towers, Ratchayothin. That's a bit 'off' from where I normally be in Bangkok. Since they moved to Chamchuri Sq. I started to go myself. Arriving just before 4PM I'm done within 5 to 10 minutes.

Was in the office overlooking Lumpini park, so decided to walk to Chamchuri Sq. to do my 90-day reporting at the OSSC there. Nice stroll although somewhat hot. Was there about 14:30 and hardly 10 minutes later left already. Seemed somewhat empty, but that's one reason I like to go in the afternoon.
No new forms. THe TM47 unchanged, the additional form already in it's new one-page incarnation since three or four months. At least you don't need a photo for it anymore.
New in the OSSC was a big display with how long you'd be barred from entering the country if you failed to report in time. Starting with one year and increasing.

A one year ban for failing to do a 90 day report on time? Are you frickin kidding me?

The webside FAQ doesn't tell much, only the fees for failure to do the 90-day reporting (with valid visa). bangkok.immigration.go.th/en/base.php?page=faq

I like to use an agent for this stuff, even the 90 day thingy - with an agent it becomes a shared resposnsibility if I forget they remind me and this they do very well. Plus I like the idea of giving business to an agent that is connected to the powers that be, in some lesser way - if the wheel falls off, chances are they might be able to lend a jack.

Always useful such contacts, already if only 'for information'. I promise that next time I go I'll have a closer look at all they put up. Mind you, can you wait another 90 days ?

That banning relates to visa overstay and how many days you have overstayed Missing a 90 day report has nothing to do with this, failure to report for 90 days doesnt not invalidate an extension of stay, but they can fine you upto thb 5k for not reporting, you have a 7 days to report after your due date after which they can fine you
