Watching another David Attenborough show, this one has a honey badger, effin thing just got stung on the snout by a bloody big scorpion and then at it ! Amazing animal. Up to 2.9 km walking now, the room is spinning, in fact the whole house is, must keep going..........................................  ... and the Italian meatballs of unknown 'meat' spinning as well? |

I think it was the meatballs that caused the delirium. Have not had that feeling since I was in Nepal and ate a yak steak. Was up all night thinking I have just contributed to the consumption of a big, smelly hairy monster.  |

Funny thing but when I staggered from Lukla to Namche (my one and only Nepalese trekking adventure) there is an government building on the way up where everyone who goes up there has to register, so they can keep track of people I suppose. There is a sign outside the office regarding AMS, Acute Mountain Sickness. It says - "If you are not feeling well over 2,500 mtrs it may be AMS, until proven otherwise" and goes on to list the symptoms, headache, dizziness, walking like a drunk, shortness of breath !
