Gawd....hiding behind the couch stayin up to watch the whistle test and dodging my mum sending me off to bed....those were the days. Yes we was too poor even for a B&W telly in my bedroom.Hehe... These days that would be called child abuse. The jackbooted facists from social services would be frog marching your poor mother out the door. I used to carry my books to school in a Wm Low bag frayed at the edges....and hold it close to my left knee which had a hole in the knee of the trousers. True this....my first year of high school  . |
