What has powered Asia's best-performing market in 2016?
Liontrust manager Carolyn Chan examines the investment case for Thailand, which is a significant overweight in the group's Asia Income fund.
Thailand's stockmarket is the best performing within our universe year-to-date, posting a 23% return in local currency terms and a 28% return in US dollar terms.
Due to our significant overweight position in the country, it has also been one of the key contributors to this year's strong performance from the Liontrust Asia Income fund.
