Well - not a very big poll, to be fair - ...................................... AN ONLINE poll seeking public opinion on whether the Thai government should legalize the use of marijuana has so far resulted in nearly 80 percent of respondents saying “yes”. Even more interesting is that those who agreed with the proposal said the authorities should allow marijuana to be used for both medical and recreational purposes. In the still-ongoing survey posted on Saturday by Thai Visa, respondents were asked to select one of three answers to the question: Should marijuana be legalized in Thailand? These sort of polls stories are click-magnets on another site I know. As rgs said the topic heading is confusing as well as being quite misleading. As if every Thai voted on the subject, don't think so. But I am ok with legalizing "electric cabbage" as long as they ban karaoke and Hello Kitty.  edit : I just noticed the url in the op, Asian Correspondent. The mere mention of that vile site should be banned from this forum as well, there is enough illegal material on that site to have someone locked up for a long stretch. ( I used to report fab4 every time he posted links to it and the Duck and co. used to remove his posts, eventually they got sick of it and banned him in Dec. last year. )  |

I wonder what they know about sampling techniques, and how many Thais they would need to ask to get what could be considered a reply representative of the population as a whole? |

^ I have not looked at it for a while but it has always been pro-Shin/reds and anti-anything else and contains lots of stuff bordering on breaking LM laws. I am sure it is supported by a well known CM family. |

Being stoned is a prerequisite for me being able string together a decent post on here. If I don't get a decent hit of shredded corduroy before posting, by the second sentence my words start to mergeandIforgettoaddthespacesinbetweenthewords. Never watch Harry Potter under the influence of Ketamine and Fentanyl. I did after an operation...it seemed to be in slow motion and very very disturbing.....quite legal I add. It was when they chopped my leg off. Frankly I do not know why people take it for fun. I have had it a few times as with my lungs it is about the only ansthetic I can take.... THings like the clock hands taking forever to move and hearing all sounds twice. |
