Interesting advice from the Mexican women of all ages - stay single.
@<Bunny boiler> knows, as do many others, Latinas can be very bad for your health. How bad? A Scottish guy I knew was beaten to a pulp, thrown fron a second storey window, and burned alive for messing with a Puerto Rican woman.
That always stuck in my mind.
So what do the ladies say?
It doesn't matter how beautiful she is - someone more beautiful will be here soon.
Ah, but what about the companionship etc that make relationship special?

I'm a mongrel gypsy tbh bleth and I live on the fringe of the plastic society people here, by choice
Men are visual creatures but I don't know I'm doing well. Grow old, grow in yourself and don't let yourself go.
My cousin lives in Italy, she goes nuts often, I must have Latino blood somewhere but my going nuts is mild admittedly.
Did I tell you when I was a young sweet thing I cut off all my ex bf's sleeves off his clothes and dumped white paint on his Toyota because the bum wouldn't leave me alone?

The first Latina I dated was a Colombian I met in Shanghai.
She was the stereotype.
Fabulous.
The company I was a shareholder in wanted me to move to Shanghai as managing director. I declined, the money wasn't good enough. $150,000 US would have been the minimum cos I would have regarded it as an intriguing hardship. $200 K plus would have been tempting - and the Colombian lady could have been the icing on the cake.
But there was another issue at play, and I'm serious. The level of drinking was absurd. I feared dying in Shanghai from alcohol poisoning. It was ridiculous. So no regrets - and the Colombian is in the happy memory file.

Nothing to be sneezed at but I wouldn't get out of bed for that.
Shanghai is a trip. Full of backstabbing power hungry money types, HK haters, The place reeks of money if you know, money and power.

That always stuck in my mind. Can be, but not always the case. Not all are as bad as your friend bumped into, some can be absolutely wonderful women. Two come to mind,…..my Aunt (kind/thoughtful Puerto Rican and in her day gorgeous and even today as an older woman) and Marissa [some Puerto Rican I used to date (for a short period of time) while she attended college in Miami]. Marissa was something. Sweet, bright, paper thin but a little demanding. When she wasn’t sneaking me into her dorm room at night (at an all-girls catholic college) she would invite me over to her home (away from home when she had weekends off) that her parents set up for her in the Gables. The help would leave the house on request and then that girl would start pleasing me. Marissa is on my top 5 list. Thinking back and if I could do it all over again,….I would consider asking her to marry me. |

I've been with only two married men, but again I don't enjoy being a mistress over time. I looove being single. I like the freedom it entails. I like how I can go to a country on vacation and meet people. I've met families, married men, business men, single men/women. I like how I can meet people in advance if I want and meet up for a coffee, a tour around a new city, etc. I met two new people this weekend - one female and one male. I'm not in a rush to get into a relationship/married. I just enjoy life as it comes actually. If I meet someone I click with, then perhaps it could lead into a quick affair, something longer lasting, etc. I would eventually like to meet someone special, but the handful of Asian men I've met over the last five years have not turned into something overly serious for a number of reasons. |

I like Shanghai. There are power hungry, money types in Beijing and Hong Kong too, luv. I've been to Shanghai a handful of times and always have a great time. I have a few good males friends there who showed me Korean town which was interesting. Depends on who you hang out with I say. You have to make your own fun. I had fun in HK too, but it is a different vibe. Many people will say HK is all about money/power. Going on three years in mainland China..funny what you learn in travelling in different circles. |

I like Shanghai. There are power hungry, money types in Beijing and Hong Kong too, luv. I've been to Shanghai a handful of times and always have a great time. I like Shanghai too however your point about the circles you move in is valid. I happened to be there doing business with young party animal businessmen. The things I experienced and saw would be out of the norm for any most visitors to the city. |

Unlike Thailand very few pros are seen here in Guadalajara, a city of about 10 million. There's a reason for that.
It's a very Catholic society, and that's all of L.A. I'd guess even prozzies go to church. In fact it's probably outside the mentality of a Mexican that when he/she meets you you couldn't possibly be anything but Catholic. The World is covered with them.
Family honor is a big deal with the woman, and men as well. To be a ho is low caste, very low. The language reflects this. The world puta is used in a thousand distasteful phrases; puta madre, puta de la chingada, hijo de puta, chinga tu puta madre, la gran puta, un putazo, una puteria.
The girls, except the ranchera yahoo types, are decent above all, difficult to shag early on in a relationship. They're sentimental, loving, family oriented, love children, excellent mothers. Plenty of single mothers round here though. But their children are love children, not offsprings of hoz.
