^^^^ dont expect the world tour to be hitting your town anytime soon. If he's anything like me people will pay big money if he does not pick up the guitar. "Drop the pick and step away from the six string, hands behind your head, easy now !" I have had a few acoustic guitars, bought a brand new Fender 12 string back in the mid seventies, I think that ended up in a hock shop to finance a trip somewhere. Bought a Kasuga 6 string off a guy in Perth in 1983, took it to Vietnam with me and it ended up in Chiang Rai. Left it with a mate from Devon who lives up there back in 2009, have not seen it since. Might get it back one day, would be nice to play it again.

Just saw on the facebook page of my old army mate a couple of videos of him and his father (his father was a top musician an music agent) and reminded him that I played with him one in a little band we started at a St Johns dance we started up. I played with him till about the third bar of C Aminor F G7 until he turned the amp off. Got even though the dance was so popular we were able to get a paid band for the next one so he could not play there:) www.facebook.com/ian.bruckshaw/videos/10210819560551180/A while since my mate from my signals classes and I went our seperate ways...though I did introduce him to his first wife. and a while till this film of him and his father was made.....why is it my mate looks older than when I saw him.

^^^^ dont expect the world tour to be hitting your town anytime soon. Mind you, I've heard and seen a few Elvis Presleys singing here in Bangkok. Also the stretch from BTS Chong Nongsri to to BRT Sathon has many aspiring youths. Tonight two girls playing the sax, yesterday morning a guy playing one of Vivaldi's four seasons on a violin. Many a tour starts here ... and doesn't seem to get real further

I play bit, used to play a lot in my younger years, and got "ok."..then just stopped for many years and few years back decided i needed a hobby and golf wasnt it....but in the true spirit of many frustrated golfers, i keep on practising in hope one day of being a decent amataur Collecting guitars can be a good money spinner, but you really got to know your "sh*t" or you will end up buying lemons

I took one of these in a trade last week. The third Hamer in my family. Interesting guitar. Has a pizo in a separate circuit and an EQ for it built in to the backing plate. Duncan rather hot PUs. Semi hollow (obviously). Two 1/4" inputs, one for pizo and one for the Buckers, and a switch to circuit them. So if you want to switch from pizo to Bucker you'd need to unplug your cable and switch inputs .. or have a Y cord and use that switch. I like Hamers, 14" radius, Gibson scale, reasonably sane peghead. The bridge gets knocked in many reviews, too big, too ugly. But it sure gives that acoustic look.
