Had to laugh this morning,i was eating a good english breakfast,when a couple of mangy backpackers came in; "we are having the thai breakfast" the man said,his girlfreind grimaced when they where served with two bowls of cow tom,she had about four spoonfuls,then ordered toast ,as the boyfreind as if to prove he was an authentic traveller slurped the rest of his down,whilst glancing enviously at my plate,as i slowly severed bit's of sausage,and fried egg,and consumed them,ah the follys of youth ,i thought.But is was over 99b,mine .

Back in my quackpacking days My then missus was a real hippie type who would insist on eating 'local' food until we got to Samet and the look on her face as I tucked into a corking pizza at Naga while she forced some shitty noodles down her gullet remains with me to this day....
