I do know that <Fantasy boy> in a message to someone here warned that along with Fabricus that the recently departed entities were, '' as mad as a box of frogs,'' that comment was based upon his experiences at L M C and P. M's and emails.
Well <Fantasy boy> judged she/ he well, <Fantasy boy> was indeed well versed in the art of trolling and New Age romantic Thinking as we all are aware.
In my opinion there are still some rather odious links albeit that they are limited in number here to a member or two that lead back to the recently departed entities and feed posts information back. Notwithstanding the passing peeping tom lurkers.

Notwithstanding the passing peeping tom lurkers. This is why I want more forums hidden behind a member wall. My basic rule of thumb is that forums that take a lot of time and effort to support should not be open to stalkers and those with a grievance with this forum. Don't feed the sick-headed dragon(s). Give them nothing of value - other than the idle chat of the general forum and news feed ( maybe a few others ). I know some consider that to be a step too far, but if I - for example, am going to spend an hour or two a day digging out gems, I don't think it's much to ask that the membership sign in to read them. |

As I recall A F demanded you sign in to get access to the contents i.e. you had to be a member.
I belong to a couple of forums that demand you sign in (i e membership) before you can enter their boards.

We have fifty forums - I reckon 10 max should be behind a wall. If you look at The Telegraph just now - they have changed their policy to making 85% of their website "free to air," so to speak - and 15% behind a premium content paywall. Our forum is free and always will be - However, I think it's only fair to ask someone to sign in to access "high value," content. |

^^ prime example - and it's up to him whether he hides the content or not.
Fletch's finance threads - top quality content aggregated by a financial professional. We see some tremendous input from members such as AyG too.
Left to me it would be behind a wall -
