I do a good job most of the time....I don't have to but I refer you to the answer blether gave. Sometimes I am exceptionally good by the way. Not bragging....just the truth. What is your actual job description ? Professional bullshit artist ? joko, I have never asked anyone for advice when it comes to picking between two job choices. I just go with my heart and then regret it later and wish I'd picked the other job, that some other &*%#@*&^$% has got now. Yes and I am VERY good at it.

Where would you prefer to work? Although this is transferable to other careers, I'm a teacher, so in my shoes... Which job would you rather have and why... Job A: You get feedback on your performance. People pay attention to how well you're doing, so you put in some extra effort to make sure you do a good job. Or... Job B: No one really pays any attention to what you do, leaving you the freedom to do what you want, even if that means just not working hard at all and phoning it in when circumstances require. I know most people who grew up with the western Protestant work ethic would be inclined to say Job A, but Job B is so much easier... If you are in need of feedback to encourage you to do your job well you are an employee. If you perform at your best and motivate yourself you a professional.

A if the feedback is constructive. B if it is not.
