Ok you know you want one and you can legally own one in Thailand subject to restrictions. Thailand has one of the most accommodating gun cultures outside of the US. Guns aren't just for self defence they are a great hobby too. Learning to shoot properly and compete in competition is a great pastime as well as modifying your firearm for top performance. So if you are prepared and interested in responsible legal gun ownership - fire away

Attachment DeletedThe proper stance & grip of your weapon will ensure maximum accuracy on target when in the standing position.

So Jimmy you like full-auto weapons I see. Problem is 1200 rounds per minute equals 20 rounds per sec which is very expensive and even worse if you don't hit your targets first time. But hey they're a lot of fun!

The M-79...I still love it even though there's better grenade launchers today. Single shot, dependabe and as accurate as you need be. A decent grenadier can plop a round inside a gallon paint can at 200+ meters...you have any idea how small a gallon paint can looks 200 meters away from you?

The Barrett .50 cal rifle M107...useless for hunting but good for killing vehicles & humans at long distances. Still...I wonder why civilians are readily buying these up since smaller calibers are easier to carry, cheaper to operate and some...especially the .408 are just as lethal at very long ranges. I prefer a .338 Lapua... especially the AI L115 A3 which I have fired in Afghanistan on numerous occasions....but here's the big Barett video instead....

Here's another huge rifle. Much more power than a puny .50 cal. It's the Anzio 20mm. Yes...20mm...usually reserved amongst the ranks of canons. Now...other than being expensive to buy and ammo very difficult to find, I mean you can't go down to your local gun shops & ask if they have any 20mm ball can you? Why would anybody want one of these other than to console small penis syndrome in a personal manner....

But everything further than 1000 m-1200m requires 50 BMG ...or a well trained sniper with his karabiner 98K...

1000+ meters with a .338 lapua is fairly easy...for a trained sniper that is. A designated marksman may have a spot of bother though. BTW...depending upon terrain...a trained sniper can get as close as he/she needs to be to do the job regardless of weapon caliber....if the caliber is a minimum of 6.5mm. Heck...I prefer the old trusty 30-06 if a .338 isn't available. Humpin a Barrett + ammo + ballistics computer + ones own kit is a freakin chore, there are easier ways. Like calling in an air strike!
Mind you...there have been reports in the past couple years of .50 ammo not living up to the claimed accuracy the mil requires.
