Oh don't you worry Uncle, I can assure you that I have an ample stock. Besides, I am bringing this New Year in with a bottle of Pernod that I received as a corporate/personal gift from one of my more favoured export customers.

I like the anise flavour and how a single, small drop of water gives this milky pattern. PS a caution my friend. We do have some here on this forum who are less francophone, better just call it Ouzo. That makes some feel more happy, all about looking a gift horse in the mouth and so

Yes I know, that's as bad as the Tulip growers getting hold of our HP Sauce.

Can't put British (Sarson's) vinegar on the Fish and Chips, enjoy British (Walker) crisps, or have some weetabix for breakfast or Hartley's Jam on toast. Life is tough. At least Scottish Whisky is still British

Well it is for now, but the way things are going with the Tulip Mafia stealing everything British I would not be surprised if they one day did this as well - i65.tinypic.com/20b026f.jpg

Tjeez, we wouldn't do that. Mind you, with the exchange rate of GBP dropped (with complements of the British people) one might invoke the intriguing native idiom of 'it was a steal'

Eh, turns out the casualty count was higher than I thought - one guy collapsed on the way home and gave himself a sore one.
