Wife and I went to beer garden in CR years ago, had these Chang promotional girls there. My wife said there was not one among them that was not stunning. They were all hotties. If only Meter Maids would take off here, as it did on the Gold Coast in QLD back in the sixties - i67.tinypic.com/96z6hg.jpg |

^^ Saturday night - Tom yam gung Yai ( too much for me ) plus steamed fish.
Add a tower of Heineken, two litre jugs of Cheers ( wtf ).
I bought the Heineken tower for the girls. They were delighted, so was I.
Leuk Kreung German/Thai girl blethered with me, had a laugh with a few other girls. Nice relaxing night.
Bill came, 1134 baht.
I had no illusions of taking anyone home. No intention of targeting anyone and making ghee feel uncomfortable. It was just a relaxing night in Chiang Rai that cost me £30.
I like that version of Thailand.

^^ Saturday night - Tom yam gung Yai ( too much for me ) plus steamed fish. Add a tower of Heineken, two litre jugs of Cheers ( wtf ). I bought the Heineken tower for the girls. Tom Yam 150 baht, fish 250 baht, total 400. Heine towers at 200 baht each = 400 baht. Two Changs at 150 each = 300 baht. Just normal prices here in the sticks of Bkk off the Suk tourist trail. |

Never the dumb two week millionaires are happy in their ignorant bliss and lack of BG engerlish. I hia you, might sound cute to them, trouble is they dont know they are being insulted big time in Thai with language no decent Thai girl would ever use. If there is one thing I have learned in the past 11 years or so, it is that the best of Thailand are the areas with the least number of foreigners, tourist etc.
Not just price wise, but the way you are treated by the local people.
One thing I like about living here in Saraphee, I am one of the few foreigners around here and the people here treat me like one of them. Very friendly and hospitable.

Must say I miss my Rangsit drinking holes. The boats on the Khlong outside Siam "International" "School" where usually where I headed to Friday night- alone or friends it mattered not; smiles, good food and cold beer where a guarantee. After dinner it was time to retire to a secluded bar deep within one of Khlong 3's less HiSo moobahns. Mandalay ain't got nothing on Rangsit 555

Yep, way back then , in Norwich, I was asked to go into a school, Pat might know West Earlham, a hard patch. Head was sent off to Canada, all too complex to write in a sentence or two.
"You are not serious, him of the corduroy jeans and polo neck jumpers,". Go back in time, although in essence I dress the same way now.
I arrived , suit , tie.
Easy to change appearance.
Head sent to Canada, exchange, friend appointed temporary head with me as deputy.
In a year we transformed that school.
Head never came back.
I left for Cumbria.
Not the same result.

To me the game in these restaurants is to know that these beautiful young women are there for the commission, and the price they pay is smiling at, and humouring, old men.
The price I pay is to have them drink with me, whether from my whisky or a tower. In return, I get beautiful young women smiling at me. Fair deal.
To add, I have never been to a restaurant with a Thai woman who HAS NOT invited the girls to drink. "I like to look at pretty girls too," they all say.
