That's based upon the old Native Indian method of naming new borns - which reminds me of a joke -
"Daddy, Daddy - why did you call my brother Shining Moon?"
"When he was born, I opened the teepee, walked out, and saw the Shining Moon, so I called him, Shining Moon."

When she was born, I opened the teepee, walked out, and saw the Silver River, so I called her, Silver River."

Actually when I first glanced at the topic heading I thought it said - "Suggest a Name For Hippity's Weiner" and I said - "Holy shit, the topics are getting a bit up-close and personal now" ! |

Is this a half-thai child? Work out the nickname later. You need a really long proper name. with the phoneme 'korn' somewhere in it.

Our son is half Thai but no Thai names on his birth certificate. No nick name either. Although when he first started walking he waddled like a duck and we called him "luk pet". Now it's me who walks funny ! |
