I'm having trouble picturing how small is this apartment that it has no cooktop or oven Smokie? Does it have any space for plates and eating stuff? What about room for a fridge? You'll only need maybe 1 metre to put an oven and cooktop in a kitchen.

And these things are meant to be good for roasting whatever they're called. Halogen light roasting thingys. I knew someone would find a picture. These are very good indeed, if you only have room for one cooking device, this is it.

There is a kitchen area kris.....but the place has not really been designed with Western ideas of actually cooking food there....more the Thai idea of heating up what you have bought outside.

We have a 900bht cooking thing where heat is forced down from the lid, it is great, can even roast a chicken in it.

I'm getting some wonderful ideas here....I can see I'm going to have a day of shopping around to find one....followed by some consultative process and brainstorming down the pub before making a decision I can put to the board.
Great stuff!

How about moving to a flat over a kebab takeaway? I'm going to love this new place seeing as its 1 min from the MRT and from there under 5 mins to Asoke. Trouble is the infrastructure around the immediate area is lacking somewhat....hopefully that will improve soon!
