Sweden has lost the plot. Snowflake country. I am refraining from using the term snowflake as Mick starts p**sing in his panties and calling me a facist and a racist Ha Ha ! Far from it, in fact I laugh every time I hear someone use that term as it gives them away, it says so much about them, just by using that one word. Funny thing about it is I had never even heard the term "snowflake" until recently and because it seemed to be used a lot by Trump supporters I thought straight away it must be a demeaning, probably anal insult. So I Googled it and the very first listing on one page 1 was this - The black fellas in Australia have an expression that suits the use of this term - "flushing the snakes out of the long grass". Also, if pos like Stephen Bannon and Milo Yiannopoulos like to use it, that says a lot about it, because they are both nasty dogs, the pair of them - www.theguardian.com/science/2016/nov/28/snowflake-insult-disdain-young-people

Both the novel and the film include the line "You are not special. You are not a beautiful and unique snowflake."[4][3][6] In January 2017, Palahniuk claimed credit for coining this usage of "snowflake", adding "Every generation gets offended by different things but my friends who teach in high school tell me that their students are very easily offended"; Palahniuk has called it "a kind of new Victorianism.”[7] en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Generation_Snowflakewww.theguardian.com/science/2016/nov/28/snowflake-insult-disdain-young-peopleErgo it seems we are dealing alternate facts here

Ergo , I think the meaning has changed a lot from what I can gather. Regarding these days, I got the feeling it was used to mean someone who was easily offended by hearing something they did not agree with, that went against their agenda. If that's the case, then both the Democrats and the Republicans are loaded with people like that, both the left and the right.
Watch what Trump and Hillary do/did when a reporter asked them questions about offending women, or emails etc.

I do believe in a free market economy.
Problem is, countries sign up for treaties then ignore them.

China for example can manafacture cheaply by pollution through untreated coal and other countries can not so have higher costs. Not really market economy is it. The same as I would like to see people able to go wherever they can live and be allowed to work on even terms but I know that is a pipedream.

I could never understand how it works. Every country is trying to come out on top, which means whoever they are dealing with comes out on the bottom. Can't have everyone on top, it don't work that way.

Every country in the world and in history has abused human rights and created masses of pollution to get ahead, Europe/ US did it during the industrial revolution, so they cannot take the moral high ground in this as regards China et al, thry pulled the same shit China etc is pulling now, China will evolve, wages get higher, better standards of living, better workers rights, less pollution and in Chinas place another developing country will be abusing human rights and enviroment to get ahead, and so the cycle contines

They are worried about the Russian hordes. It would appear that they are not alone. Apparently Norway is too. From Private Eye: "Letter from Oslo "From Our Own Correspondent: "These are testing times in Norway. Worried about the threat posed by an increasingly bellicose Russia, with whom we share a 200km Artic border, defence minister Ine Eriksen Søreide recently announced plans to beef up our submarine capability.""

Every country has human rights skeletons in their closets, that is true. Does not make it acceptable, or justified, just widespread. I laugh at that stupid attitude that some have adopted - "I'ts ok for me to commit this crime because he is doing it as well". What BS !
