This does make me laugh...."potentially".
How many of their customers are aware of EU261?
You had better believe BA won't be telling anyone.

“We gave customers refreshment vouchers so they could get something to eat and drink in the terminal and we got them away on their holidays as soon as we could.”
I hope no one got a dose of the squirts from the cheap BA sponsored food, no bog roll to wipe their bums

bit of understatement lack of toilet paper. The plane does not have just toilet paper to recheck. there are all the galley stocks, cups, coffee and tea, and even the miniatures that some of these readers like to drink. It does seem a long time to wait to restock these though. They were probably pushing the limits of their pilots duty hours and the delay to get these items meant they had to get a new crew in.

They do what the nightclubs do, serve drinks out of the big bottle with the label on it. So they can water it down in the galley. Can't do that if they give out unopened bottles.

From a cost point of view the dinky bottles must be more expensive per tot anyway... Dont know about watered down in the galley, my last long haul, the bottle of JD was opened in front of me and poured

In First on Emirates they brought my pre takeoff champers in a glass to my suite.
Quick taste and hit the call button.
Oh sorry sir we will bring the Dom Perignon immediately.
As if I can't tell the difference.
