I'm sure most of you guys and girls are reasonably decent people. I was only snooping the public listings and trying to make some sort of assessment about this place. I think the last forum I joined was Thai Visa about 10 years ago and I soon lost interest in that place. So, any of you people near Nong Khaem and want to meet up for a beer or 5? 10/10 for signing up. I don't have a clue where NK is In London just now so can't make it anyway. I post where I am on a regular basis so that my stalkers can keep tags on me. I'm polite that way. I was thinking of giving out my GPS responder just to make it easy for them to stalk me. 55555+ (I'll turn my charisma down a notch, you'll all soon get bored and drift away)

Middle of nowhere...gotcha . Yep, it's basically the middle of west suburbia in Bangkok - goo.gl/maps/JWfooiqnCfN2People seem nice and I don't see many foreigners out here so I do feel like a 'rock star' when I walk down the main Soi as I'm sure most of the the local Thai's have never been that close to a ferang before. I'm sure they think I'm planning to eat them or something -

I, we too live in a very nice area where the ''white man '' is still a rare breed and our village is basically populated by Thai Chinese families, all are pleasant people. We even have an African Thai family here too, he is in the gems business. Nice private gated estate no bloody soi dogs either. Noticeable that all the dog owners walk with their dogs and clean up after them as I do, our kids are in a clean environment, decent people all round. A lot to be said for being away from the mainstream, yet we are a short drive from Mega, Paradise, (no not the Muslim one with virgins honey and milk ) Seacon, Imperial Samrong, Tesco Lotus Sri-Nakarin, Foodland and the new centre next to Foodland etc, plus the expressway and soon the Skytrain from Samrong. Swampy is but a twenty minute drive but we suffer no aircraft noise. I can stroll to our local shopping area market (a good one) Lotus Express, 7-11, Pizza company in 5 minutes, yet we hear no traffic or other noise due to a good screen of tree's and the curve of our soi away fom Soi Mankong Suits me a treat as does our house and farm in Surin does when I/ we want to escape from the world for a while.

However perchance you develop dual personalities along the Bowie, Buhi or Buhi, Bowie lines just be, ''yourselves.''

Just be yourself ? ! ! You never told me that, and I have been holding back all this time and taking it out on those poor Pommy and Indian bastardos on the cricket forum I often post on. (been having lots of fun with that lot lately, the Poms are ok, you can say anything to them and they just give it back just as good. But the Indians are delicate little petals when it comes to cricket, they take it so serious. If they lose a game you won't see one comment from an Indian for days, maybe a week, they sulk. I was in India in 2007, and the Australian cricket team arrived at the same time to play a seven match one day series. Could not believe how badly the fans were affected when their team lost)
