Fake news and outdated, The Hurricane landed in the land of Oz the other week, you are half correct, The Cyclone is I hear inbound. The Hurricane pm'ed me this morning to say she would blow that wee cyclone out if it comes anywhere near her. I believe her. Anyway, she'said moving from Melbourne to Sydney tomorrow- been offered a job at $65,000 a year. Nice pay! Means you'll be coming to visit when?

Mexico and central America too. Good job I enjoy flying.

She's an accountant type, reckons if she was on a long term contract she'd be on $50 an hour. She can't get that kind of job under working holiday visa regs. She's only allowed to work six months per employer max. One year visa. A company could sponsor her to stay on in Australia but The Hurricane is destined to open her own business. Her Dad's a property millionaire. Arrived in the UK in 1984 and had a real go. Puts a lot of Brits to shame, sitting skint in Isaan.

I was lucky the last few years I worked over there, had a house supplied free, no rent, power, internet, water bills etc. But in Sydney if you have to pay for that yourself it does not leave much. What sort of job did she get ?

What sort of job did she get ? Financial analysis and data type. She's renowned for drilling down on credit risk management.

Looks like a car park to me. Yes...australia does not need cellars. The above constructions are ideally suited for Australia...Yes downstairs the area can be used as a car park to park the Rolls Royce with a 44 gallon drum of fuel in the boot and room for a couple of sheep there if needed. It can also provide a cool spot to sit and drink beer....while the missus hangs the wsashing on the clothes line there out of the rain. I feel sorry for you underground cave dwellers.

Naaaah I'm kidding...enjoy the Ozzy vinos! She reckons she'll save £15 - £18 grand this year. She'll be renting a room to keep costs down. Said she fancied staying at Bondi Beach but I ridiculed that idea. Mental rents down there, plus just about every shop is a tourist trap. Can be mental traffic too. Bondi is a great beach and cove but way too busy.

On a side note, just goes to show a 30 year old girl can save the equivalent of the retirement 800,000 in one year.
She has a gorgeous Muslimah British pal in Dubai saving £30,000 a year as a professional teacher.

Weather is great here and I get the bonus ball of there being nowhere...and I do mean nowhere to spend my cash.

After visiting there on more occasions than I care to remember, I can well undertsand why, its a wonderful country, The Lucky Country, the working mans paradise. Despite the laffs and jokes we have on here, coupled with the p**s taking about poms and ozzies, they are a great people with a just do it attitude. Giving serious consideration to retiring there.
