To be honest, he was never going to serve anytime or face proper justice, as he is from far too a powerful family. There are two laws in Thailand, one for the general proles and another for the connected families.

The General has promised us that that naughty Mr. Thaksin is going to pay his 17.6 billion baht tax bill, even without the use of Section 44. Clearly if someone has fabulously wealthy and talented as Mr. Thaksin can't escape justice, this little twerp can't, too. Incidentally, is it illegal in Thailand for people to help fugitives from justice? Perhaps the authorities should go after those who are supporting the family's scion so helping him evade justice? Deprive the brat of cash, Porsches and champagne and he might be forced back to Thailand.

Thanks for reminding me about the political situation of Thailand AyG. If not for comments like that I would not even realise what is going on.

Thanks for making sarcastic comments which remind me about <duck> all. My original posting makes the point that the Thai press (English and Thai language) have consistently suggested that since the "accident" Boss has been in hiding, on the run. The Bangkok Post article shows that his location was common knowledge, though this was not disclosed in the press for whatever reasons. You may have known his whereabouts, but most didn't.

^ Wow ! That's amazing ! A hi-so Thai crim giving the finger to the law, who would have thought ?
I did not know his whereabouts, in fact have not even given the little pos a thought since I stopped looking at TVF over a year ago, where I was reminded of him every day. By the resident Thai bashers. Along with lots of other crap I did not need to know about.
