the 'Retief' books from Keith Laumer, discussing the CDT (Corps Diplomatique Terrestrienne) have a few nice ones

Mind you, Laumer as former USAF man was attached to the American Embassy in Burma in the 50's and had a belly full of interesting Acronyms.

Outside this my personel favourite is still RTFM, although I've never been allowed to use it. I work mostly in IT departments in banks here, some people simply don't have a sense of humour when their customers are waiting
