Funny how you never forget certain sights, like they are imprinted on your brain.



First time I ever stepped foot in a Muslim country was when I flew to Vietnam in 2004 via KL. Sitting in the terminal I saw this fat little grub waddle past in his matching flowing pants and top, carrying absolutely nothing, his wife in a burka close behind struggling to keep up with him and three kids, trying to carry and drag all the family's luggage ! I felt like giving him an old fashioned stiff arm tackle. Arrogant little prik.



Last time I landed there I stopped over on my way to Singapore, was going to spend the night in KL and look up some friends I knew who lived there.

Got off the plane, did not like the attitude I got from the bus driver, turned around and walked straight back in to the terminal and flew on to Singapore.

Have not been back since.
