Tens of thousands of expat pensioners may return to the UK to use the NHS after Brexit - unless a deal can be done to let them keep receiving care abroad, a think tank has warned. The Nuffield Trust estimates the cost of treating them - on home soil, rather than abroad - could double to £1bn. Currently, the UK gives around £500m a year to EU countries that care for Brits who have retired abroad. www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-40095822

^^^ wonder how many can afford to come back, can they afford the air fare? How many are willing to walk away from their overpriced Spanish mansions?
Wonder how this will impact these Mickey Mouse Euro countries whose health system is being subsidised by the Brit taxpayer?
If you leave the bosom of the nanny state, stand on your own two feet and man up and suck it up, dont expect any help from the taxpayer to fund your playboy lifestyle, its called personal responsibility.
Some of the keyboard warriors who post non stop drivel day in and day out on the interweb would have their lights knocked out if they headed up my way to my local boozer.
