My Mitsubishi WP 255 house water pump is getting past its (I can't fix this piece of crap much more) time and really needs replacing.
I would like to replace it with a Grundfos but I have no idea where to buy one here in Thailand.
Does anyone have any ideas?

Hi billd766,
I am going to be needing a new pump soon for our new house, to pump water from water tanks into the house and around the garden. I am going to look for a Lowara pump. They are very good pumps as I found in Australia, but Grundfos are good as well. I will do some looking around and see if I can find both brands in Thailand.

Hi billd766, I am going to be needing a new pump soon for our new house, to pump water from water tanks into the house and around the garden. I am going to look for a Lowara pump. I have not heard of Lowara and I think if you really want one you will have to import it. I remember seeing a Grundfos pump somewhere around the outskirts of BKK years ago but I cannot remember where. I wasn't in the market for one then and now I live some 400 km from BKK. Look at the post below your for a link to Grundfos. It worked for me. I suspect I will have to go to the main Grundfos site to find the right model of MQ pump and then to the Thai site to see what they can offer. Cheers Bill

I went through the Grundfos website link that micksaraphee kindly provided and downloaded some stuff from there and this morning I called the BKK number for Grundfos 02 7258 942 and got a K Sompran or Songkran. I have a hearing problem which is why I am not 100% sure of his name. I explained what I wanted and where I live. He told me that Grundfos has a place in BKK and another in CM and that the prices may be lower if I but direct from them. I explained that I am about 400 km from BKK and CM and could I buy a pump from somewhere like Global House. Yes you can. He asked questions about the houses, distances, heights etc and came back with his suggestion of the CMB 3-37 booster pump which is 16,700 from Grundfos. I downloaded the pump details from Australia as it is in English here au.grundfos.com/content/dam/GPA/CM%20Booster%20Brochure_AUST_email%20version.pdfThey are very helpful and speak good English. I hope this is of some use to people and hopefully I will get around to buying one soon myself. Cheers Bill
