Well, great, real great of course. I would almost say 'Trumpish'

Our paychecks bounced': US workers in limbo as coalmines suddenly close
On 1 July, Missy Cole was notified by her bank that her husband’s most recent paycheck had bounced, leaving their account more than $1,000 in the red. Her husband had worked as a coalminer for nearly three years at one of the eastern Kentucky mines operated by Revelation Energy affiliate Blackjewel mining.
But both companies had filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy, a financial move that has implications far beyond just laying off staff as the ex-workers now wait for the bankruptcy proceedings to play out. Critics say the move is a ploy increasingly used in the struggling industry to avoid paying workers what they are owed.

Since Trump took office, about 2,000 jobs have been added to the coal industry, which currently employs an estimated 53,000 workers. The industry has shed more than 30,000 jobs in the past decade, driven by automation, and changes in the energy industry as renewable energy production recently surpassed coal production for the first time ever in the US and natural gas production hit a record high in 2018.

Trump says 'the coal industry is back.' The government's jobs numbers say otherwise
President Donald Trump tells a rally in West Virginia his administration is putting coal miners back to work.
Government data show the United States added about 2,000 coal mining jobs since Trump took office, but economists say the change is not statistically significant.
The export-fueled bump in coal production and coal-mining employment is forecast to fade next year."

President Donald Trump touted the opening of a new coal mine in Pennsylvania as evidence that his administration is “putting the miners back to work.” But construction of the mine in question began before the 2016 election. And experts say it’s not evidence of a resurgence in coal mining.
The U.S. has added about 1,000 new coal mining jobs since Trump became president, part of a modest 5 percent increase since a modern low of 48,300 jobs in October. But the current number of coal mining jobs, 51,000, is 43 percent lower than in January 2012. Industry experts do not anticipate a return to that level, even with Trump’s efforts to roll back regulations."
