Half of Patients with healthy cholesterol levels have high levels of plaque.
I don't know why they used the word patients instead of people, perhaps that's how the American medical profession sees everyone else.

^^^ They used the word "patients" because these are people who've been medically tested. The word "people" would imply the general population, and it's only the subset of "patients" for which cholesterol and plaque levels are known.
I'd perhaps add that "people" would imply everyone in the world, whilst I suspect the research only refers to patients in the USA or part thereof.
I'm not sure, though, of the connection between blood cholesterol and skanky teeth.

^^^ I thought Americans were perfect in every way - not just their teeth. After all, USA #1 (chanted repeatedly and mindlessly at every possible opportunity).
Of course, it's perfectly possible that their brains are all addled by saluting the country's flag every morning at school.
"I pledge allegiance to the Flag of the United States of America, and to the Republic for which it stands, one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all"
Just a few flaws with that:
(1) There is no God.
(2) The nation is not indivisible, as is blatantly clear from the red state/blue state split.
(3) There is most certainly "no liberty and justice for all" - only for rich, white men.

Which one, that of the Union or that of that bunch the Confederates?

So AyG didn't rise to the bait about the teeth, perhaps the people bit satisfied him.
I am confused about my blood pressure, but think I'll save that till next month. Anyway the rain has stopped, hope you hi-so's in Bangers aren't washed away. I am unsure of the hi-so apostrophe.

Yesterday was relatively 'dry', no problem for us hi-so, lo-so and middle-so types in Bangkok. Nothing to get upset about or get your blood pressure into the danger zone for. Today might be a wee bit wetter although watching through the windows to the scenery in front of me I see a clear sky with few clouds. Even Bangna Towers is visible but no umbrella carrying tigger.
