My weapon of choice? Hmmmmm...depends on the circumstances. However...if you ever come to my home with malice this will be the last thing you will ever see in your miserable life... Attachment Deleted

Close range, can't see the target clearly but know it's in front of you... #4 shot to OO Buck...works wonders. If the target is wearing body armour...shoot for the legs...OO buck will remove em. Attachment Deleted100-200 meters...I still prefer 7.62x51...see below for longer range. Mid range....200-800 meters....anything in 7.62x51 works very well. Over 800 meters....call in an air strike.

My preferred home protection also doubles up as a ride on lawn mover and as a back up....with the 20mm round option of course

For ultimate stealth...these make very little noise...can't hear em from 3 meters away.... I guess scopes are the in thing these days as they also appear on handguns, however with good training you can easily lethally take down a target at 300meters with this and no scope.... Attachment Deleted

My preferred home protection also doubles up as a ride on lawn mover and as a back up....with the 20mm round option of course Southy...I have fired a variant of this in Afghanistan twice. Surprisingly there is very little recoil considering the round it uses. Strangely enough in a few states in the US a civilian can actually own one. Where to get ammo is another matter though & last time I had a look training rounds (blue tips) were going for around $50 a piece. That would equate to an expensive day at the range...if you could find a range that would accommodate you & your weapon. Have a look at this site... www.anzioironworks.com/20MM-TAKE-DOWN-RIFLE.htm

Played around with those things for a while until they got banned in Germany...great weapon but you are easily traceable due of the direction the arrow is coming from...

^^^ True...but if one shoots & scoots...one creates havoc...silently & that messes up minds of the enemy.
