Used this particular weapon. Awesome Uzi. When I worked in Saudi we couldn't get the Uzi...Jewish stuff & all that nonsense, same for Coca-Cola & 7Up. That said we had a heap of these laying around the armoury in wither .45ACP or 9mm...choice was open to individual taste & "feel" I preferred the .45 & with suppressor attached recoil was almost nil & climb minimum even at full tilt 1150 rpm. Very evil little weapon due to the high rate of fire. Attachment Deleted

That Uzi was described to us by the instructor on my firearms refresher course as the ideal street cleaning weapon if ever one found one self in need of such a weapon to clear a path through a hostile area.
If only the U.K. public knew what plans could and would be implemented if push came to shove

Could these actually be used to kill someone? Apparently yes, if you have seen the movie Snatch. Death by dildo, what a way to go.

If only the U.K. public knew what plans could and would be implemented if push came to shove The Uzi & the MAC10....both great for crowd clearance whether in open or enclosed spaces. That said...the Uzi @ 9mm vs the MAC10 @ .45ACP may have an over penetration problem but today's ammo will see to that not happening. Back in the late 70's to mid 80's the available stuff was primarily ball ammo, at least that's what we had, and the 45 has a much better knock down effect on target regardless of where the hit is at. This is mainly due to the mass of the 45 vs the mass of the 9mm. Much more inertia/kinetic energy in that fat 45 round moving slower than the 9mm Don't get me wrong...9mm is very good...however...I prefer that old 45. Why? Because it hits like a freight train & drops em every time...that's what it was invented to do. Drop big doped up Moro's in the Philippines when a 38 revolver would just p**s em off. That's why it is still in use with the military today...albeit...a larger magazine capacity is available these days...like 14 rounds...gives you 14+1= 15.....hmmmmm.
