Certainly heart wrenching images made even more dramatic by the use the ''artistic use'' of the camera and black and white film.
Indonesia we should remember is not really so well connected to our more caring world due to the attitude of the peoples and its religious structure.
Even more shall we say melodramatic though is that the whole issue is published in a newspaper in a country that still runs Guantánamo Bay and all its delightful diagnostic methods.
A case methinks of Pot,kettle black regarding the exposing the Indonesian treatment of the outsiders in Indonesian society

How about a photo shhot from the Loony Bin just oustside of Taif.
The same place ordinary people who dont believe in the word of the profit go, after being declared mad for refusing to accept his word.
No doubt the journo will be granted full access to the equiavlent of Gitmo.
How about some photo shoots from those "welfare villages" in Saudi.
Stinks of effin hypocrisy.

^^^ as an aside to the above, rumour has it, a certain flight from Jeddah had to be aborted due to the appearance of a "Jin" on board.

There have been some pretty heart wrenching pictures published of the homeless insane kicked out of asylums after the decision to de institutionalise them in the west without providing proper support. |

That's what happens when you let do-gooders run your mental health system. I know of a guy in my home town who is a cat one violent mental case, no way back for the guy. He has been given a house, with two bedrooms, and requires two adult men to be with him twenty-four hours a day to force feed him and wrestle him into compliance. |
