I am posting this not as advertising but because someone may want it. Arvix is the web host I have used for a few years. I also use it to host my email accounts. I have had no problems with them. Their accounts allow unlimited websites and no added downoad or storage charges. (caviat...you cannot use them to store backups etc, ) The sale price at the moment ranges from 80 cents a month to $20 a month for a 4 core VPS Server. The sale finishes 29/11 US time so you will have to be quick. A real bargain www.arvixe.com/

Not intentionally knocking, but I wanted to find out if they provided domain privacy (as far as I can see they don't), and I came across this: "Our support wait times have been extremely long lately, we know this and we are working to fix it. We are actively training additional staff to handle your requests, as well as systematically working to address the root cause of issues that are affecting some customers. While the wait times have been long, we ask for your patience and please hold on the line for chat or phone, we will answer you." I guess you get what you pay for. support.arvixe.com/

The bussiness changed hands last year and they did a whole lot of server migrations. I think they were swamped for a while. I have used a few over the years and in fact they are one of the best. I have used them for 5 years now without a problem. Anyway I do not get anything for recomending them so I could not care whether you use them or not. They are one of the few with Windows or Linux servers and MSSQL included. I have a few mailboxes on them now and hardly use the rest anymore. Lost interested in Web Development but Their uptime has been outstanding. If you want to pay 80 cents a month and get a free domain name which is yours to take anywhere instead of about $6 a month it is up to you. Since last year, I face many problems with them.
