My doctor shook my hand last night - delighted that my BP has come down from a life threatening 225/125 March 2014 to 120/80 last night.
Weight loss and walking eight miles or more most days were the key.
I still have a long way to go re weight loss, but it was delightful to see how happy the doctor was. Motivational.

You have worked hard. Now if you could just do something about you raising my blood pressure we would be on a winner. Seriously keep it up. The hardest part is behind you.

Congrats blether, I know just how you feel. My blood pressure went a bit crazy when I was having chemo but as soon as that course ended I was back to normal. That walking is the go, I always took it for granted until I was declared a paraplegic, now that I can do it again I can't get enough of it. Doing up to 6km a day now. Keep it up blether. Skip the deep-fried food and the dairy products and you are halfway there with your weight loss regime, along with the walking.
