Reports are coming out of Phuket that Queens Park Rangers have offered a trial to Thailand striker Supaporn Massage.
Supaporn, who has partnered new signing Robbie Fowler at Muang Thong United, has been told that she has an opportunity to play in the Premier League and will fly in to Shepherd's Bush to undergo a medical.
It is understood that Supaporn, who has scored 16 goals in 36 games for her country, will be allowed to leave Muang Thong permanently if a bid of 300,000 baht is made. But Supaporn said she knew nothing of the move "I only heard about it in the Poo restaurant on Surin Beach this morning" she said.
Muang Thong general manager Pornthip Terdsak said the club had not received any offer from QPR, who are making a return to the English Premier League.
"But I would not be surprised if Supaporn is sought by foreign clubs," he said. "We have some good players and the likes of goalkeeper Gangdang Phatprik was linked to Manchester United and Atletico Madrid."
QPR fan Terry Pikey, who claims to have an intimate knowledge of football in Thailand, was the first to tell other fans about the Thai hotshot on the We Are The Rangers Boys forum:
"I have seen this lad play a few times on the telly in Thailand and he looked half decent, but i am not convinced he could do the business in the Premier League.
The boy's biggest problem would be acclimatisation. In Thailand the locals wear woolly hats and moan about the cold. I wouldn't expect a good showing on a winter's night in Wigan." said the Shepherd's Bush taxi driver.
